One of San Joaquin’s most philanthropic families will expand its reach in a mutual partnership with the Stockton Thunder.

The Bobby Christoulakis family will be presenting Greek Heritage night and also a presenter of the Thunder’s Christmas Ugly Sweater night and Teddy Bear Toss.

The Christoulakis Family has long been known for its deep commitment to giving back to the surrounding community through active involvement with various charities and local non-profit organizations. As local housing providers, they specialize in offering safe and supportive housing for homeless veterans, as well as women and children who have been victims of domestic violence. Their generosity and dedication have made a significant impact, supporting causes that aim to improve the lives of those in need. Whether through financial contributions, volunteer efforts, or advocating for positive change, the Christoulakis Family has played a pivotal role in enhancing the well-being of many individuals and families. Their tireless work and heartfelt support continue to inspire others to join in the mission of helping build stronger, more compassionate communities.

“The work the Christoulakis family does, is exactly the type of thing we want to highlight and help with,” Thunder president Scott Brand said. “When we selected Stockton we said we want to be a small piece of improving the quality of life in the area. What the Christoulakis family does on an ongoing basis takes that to a new level tenfold.”

Opening night at Adventist Health Arena is against the Oceanside Shock on Saturday, October 17. For tickets and more information about the Stockton Thunder, visit stocktonhockey.com or follow the team on Instagram and Facebook at @stocktonthunderhockey
